The NerdWorld Organisation is dedicated to having fun with computers. Especially networked computers. Our interests center on ways to setup, operate, and interconnect low-cost home computers. If possible, we'd like to become obscenely rich in the process. But frankly, we don't hold out much hope that that will happen.

Barring getting rich, we expect to have fun. We don't expect our computers to actually do anything, since we believe whole-heartedly in the "Existential Pleasures of Engineering", where the thing is built because it's fun to build, not because it is inherently useful.  In fact, actually using computers is pretty boring;  it's the building of them that is enjoyable.

If you'd like help networking Linux and (we hate to even utter the word) Micro$oft computers, drop us a line, and we'll do our best to help. We can do web pages, domain hosting, eMail lists, "Local Area Networks", intranets, extranets, LANs, WANs, WiFI, DSL, ISDN, etc, etc, etc.   We also are reasonably good at creating databases, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and all kinds of other useless tasks. 

We'd be glad to help with your problem.  Just ask us! (Provided, of course, we either get obscenely rich by billing you at an ungodly hourly rate, or simply have fun in the process of solving a technical problem.)
